Father Timothy Bartlett, a priest of Down and Connor Diocese has been appointed to the role of Secretary General for the 9th World Meeting of Families, which will take place in Ireland from 22 to 26 August 2018 on the theme The Gospel of the Family: Joy for the World.

 

 

  

 Eilís Mulroy is from Galway and is married with five children. A solicitor by profession, she has worked with the Pro Life Campaign for several years. As part of her current role, she works with Church leaders to find effective ways to communicate the pro­life message in challenging times.

 

 

 

 

  

Archbishop Charles Brown was ordained priest for the Archdiocese of New York in 1989. After working for several years in the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, he was appointed Apostolic Nuncio to Ireland in November 2011 by Pope Benedict XVI who ordained him bishop in St Peter’s Basilica on 6 January 2012.
