ImageFr Ciarán O'Carroll

A priest of the Archdiocese of Dublin, Fr Ciarán O'Carroll holds a doctorate in ecclesiastical history from the Gregorian University, Rome. He has taught ecclesiastical history at St Patrick's College, Maynooth, and at Holy Cross College, Clonliffe, Dublin. He has contributed to a variety of works on the Catholic Church in Ireland in the 19th century, and his most recent publication is Paul Cardinal Cullen: Profile of a Practical Nationalist. He was recently named Vicar for Evangelisation in the Dublin Archdiocese, and is leading the Year of Evangelisation currently underway.


ImageFr Luiz Ruscillo

Canon Luiz Ruscillo is a priest of Lancaster Diocese, ordained in 1990. He studied at the Gregorian University, and specialised in Scripture at the Biblical Institute, Rome. Presently he is Parish Priest of St Mary's, Hornby, Lancashire, and is Head of Service at the Lancaster Diocese Education Service.


ImageDominic Dowling

A graduate of law from University College Dublin, Dominic Dowling qualified as a solicitor in 1976 and was appointed a Commissioner for Oaths in 1980. He has worked extensively in the area of Statutory Regulation, and has a particular interest in Legal Education. He sits on a number of Law Society Committees. He is married and has six children.


ImageFr Timothy Bartlett

A priest of the Diocese of Down and Connor, Fr Timothy Bartlett was ordained in 1992. He taught theology for eleven years in St Mary’s University College, Belfast before becoming Assistant to the President of the Irish Episcopal Conference and Secretary to the Bishops of Northern Ireland in 2004.


ImageJames MacMillan 

The pre-eminent Scottish composer of his generation, James MacMillan attracted attention with the acclaimed BBC Proms premiere of The Confession of Isobel Gowdie (1990). His percussion concerto Veni, Veni Emmanuel has received over 400 performances. He was the featured composer at the Edinburgh Festival (1993), South Bank Centre in London (1997) and BBC Barbican Composer Weekend (2005).
