ImageLismullin provides a pleasant atmosphere conducive to personal reflection and study. It is located in the heart of Meath, very close to the historic Hill of Tara.

An important theme emphasised at Lismullin is that every person is called to seek personal holiness. A retreat at Lismullin will give depth to your convictions and encouragement to be active disciples of our Lord.

'Lord, to Whom Shall We Go?'

Image'Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the message of eternal life, and we believe; we have come to know that you are the Holy One of God' (Jn 6:68-69).

'Attentive listening to the Word of God concerning the mystery and action of the Holy Spirit opens us up to great and inspiring insights…' (Pope Benedict XVI)

What takes place on a retreat?

Each day there are a number of talks and workshops on the Catholic faith. There is time for personal prayer and reflection. Mass is celebrated daily and there are opportunities for the Sacrament of Reconciliation and to receive personal spiritual advice.
